**About the Role:**\n\nBuddyBoss is hiring a Lead Mobile Engineer for a very exciting opportunity to play a critical role in our fast-growing startup. The right candidate will not only architect but lead the development and implementation of new product features for our BuddyBoss App. In this role, youโll be in charge of developing features from end-to-end, and craft an entire ecosystem of open-ended code that has unlimited scaling capabilities. Youโll work with UX, Product Management, DevOps and other engineers on a daily basis in order to build amazing software experiences.\n\n**Key Accountabilities:**\nYouโll lead development and implement new product features for our BuddyBoss mobile app.\nYouโll architect and build features keeping in mind the scalability and opportunity to build an entire ecosystem on the existing code base.\nYouโll craft the tools, processes, and frameworks that will empower our team to move quickly as we scale.\nYouโll contribute to the product process: thinking through UX, designing beautiful UI, and connecting with customers to solve their problems.\nHelp maintain existing mobile applications by investigating bugs and implementing fixes.\nParticipate in code review to help everyone grow.\nInvolve in discussion, planning and brainstorming with teammates and stakeholders to achieve project goals.\nDesign, develop and test front end software components in an Agile environment.\nArchitect extendable and reusable solutions.\nPerform performance analysis and optimization.\nDocument software designs and interfaces.\nBug fixing and maintenance.\n\n**Key Skills:**\nStrong knowledge of WordPress with the ability to speak to its technical frameworks, plugins and themes;\nStrong understanding of React, React Native, Redux and RxJS Observables, Node.js, AWS);\nYou have a deep understanding of mobile development, including multiple environments, device compatibility, for both iOS and Android;\nYou have a strong understanding of React Native best practices to build performant components;\nYou are confident with asynchronous programming;\nYou have the ability to work across the full range of product development: ideation to launch to scale;\nKnowledge of Git or other version control software;\nExperience with development tools from Atlassian;\nKnowledge of software development processes and paradigms. \n \n**Experience:**\nBachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;\n5+ years of React, React Native, Redux and RxJS, Node.js, AWS;\nPreferred 6 to 8 years of experience as a Sr. Software developer;\nExperience leading design and software technical specifications;\n4-5 yearsโ experience in and Agile Development;\nExperience leading development projects with React Native app(s) available in the app store;\nExperience with TypeScript;\nExperience with Unit Testing frameworks such as Jest and UI testing frameworks like Detox;\nExperience with Redux and some asynchronous middleware (Rxjs Observables is an asset) for state management;\nExperience developing apps that interact with Web Services (REST, JSON) โ Axios is a plus;\nExperience developing bridges to native components;\nExperience with IntelliJ or Android Studio, Xcode, React Native Debugger;\nExperience with Android or iOS development with an understanding of both native build processes;\nExperience with build scripts such as fastlane or bash scripts.\n\n \n\nPlease mention the word **ELEVATE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RNTQuMjI2LjE1NS4xNTE=).
